Protected species surveys for development
Protected species surveys establish whether particular species or suitable habitat may be affected by proposed works. Survey requirements depend on site characteristics, the project and the time of year. We advise on suitable methods and coordinate the assessment needed to inform planning and mitigation.
Protected species survey support
- Bat roost assessment and further bat survey advice
- Great crested newt eDNA and pond-related appraisal
- Reptile and nesting bird survey scoping
- Survey reports, mitigation and licensing advice where relevant
What to consider
Survey windows can be seasonal. Contact us early with your location and a brief description of the proposed works so we can advise on timing.
