Do I need an ecology report?
It depends on your site, the proposed works and the planning authority’s requirements. Send us the plans and any ecology request so we can advise on a suitable starting scope.
Does no evidence of bats mean no more surveys?
Not necessarily. Suitable roost features, inaccessible areas and the proposed works may justify further surveys even where no bats or signs are found during an initial inspection.
Can biodiversity gains be delivered on site?
Sometimes. The answer depends on the baseline, design, habitat condition and metric trading rules. We assess realistic on-site opportunities before explaining any residual off-site requirements.
Can you quote from drawings?
We can usually prepare an initial scope from your location, drawings and a description of the proposal. We will explain any information needed before confirming the fee.
Can you help with an existing planning query?
Yes. Send the relevant planning comments and reports. We can review the issue and advise on the evidence or clarification required.
